Introduction

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and 1Nodes, the operator of the platform available at 1nodes.com. They apply the moment you register an account, connect a wallet, process a payment through our gateway, or call our API on behalf of a business.

By using any part of the platform, you confirm that you have read these terms, that you understand them, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you are using 1Nodes on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for that company, and the word "you" in this document refers to that company as well as to you personally.

02

Definitions

A few terms come up throughout this document, so it helps to define them once here. The Platform means the 1nodes.com website, dashboard, and API together. The Services mean payment processing, currency conversion, and any related feature we make available through the Platform. A Merchant is a business that accepts payments or uses our API through an account. A Customer is the person paying a Merchant. Digital Assets means cryptocurrency and any token or coin supported on the Platform at a given time. A Transaction means any deposit, conversion, payment, or payout processed through the Platform.

Where this document uses "we", "us", or "our", it means 1Nodes. Where it uses "you" or "your", it means the person or business that holds the account.

03

Our services

1Nodes provides three connected services. First, a payment gateway that lets a Merchant accept cryptocurrency from their own customers and receive settlement in the currency of their choice. Second, currency conversion between supported cryptocurrencies and, where available, fiat currency. Third, a merchant API that lets a business integrate payment acceptance, conversion, and payout directly into its own website or application.

We may add, change, or retire individual features over time as the underlying networks and our licensing arrangements evolve. We will aim to give you reasonable notice before removing a feature you actively rely on, but we cannot promise that every feature available today will remain available indefinitely.

We are a service provider, not a bank and not a custodian of last resort. Where we hold balances on your behalf between a deposit and a withdrawal, that arrangement is described in your account dashboard and in any separate custody terms that apply to your account type.

04

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least eighteen years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if that is older, to open an account. You must also be legally permitted to use cryptocurrency payment and conversion services where you live and where your business operates.

We do not knowingly offer our services to residents of countries subject to comprehensive sanctions, or to individuals and entities on relevant sanctions lists. If we later learn that an account falls into one of these categories, we will close it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us during registration, for keeping your login credentials and API keys confidential, and for every action taken through your account, whether by you, an employee, or anyone else you have given access to.

05

Identity verification

Because we move value between currencies and across borders, we are required to know who our customers are. Depending on your account type and transaction volume, we may ask for personal identification, proof of address, details about your business, or information about the source of funds you send through the Platform.

We may limit the features available to you, hold a transaction, or pause your account entirely until we receive and review the information we ask for. This is not a judgment about you personally. It is a standing requirement under anti money laundering law that applies to every customer at a certain point of activity.

Full detail on what we collect, how long we keep it, and how we protect it lives in our separate AML and KYC Policy and our Privacy Policy, both linked in the footer of this page.

06

API access and integration

If your account includes API access, we issue you credentials that identify your integration and let it call our endpoints. You are responsible for storing those credentials securely, for rotating them if you suspect they were exposed, and for every request sent using them, including requests sent by mistake through your own systems.

We provide a sandbox environment so you can test an integration before it touches real funds. Activity in the sandbox has no financial effect and is not covered by the transaction guarantees that apply to production use.

We apply reasonable rate limits to protect the stability of the Platform for every merchant using it. You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass the API in ways it was not designed for. We may update the API over time, including its request formats and available endpoints, and we will give you advance notice before a change that would break an existing integration.

We may suspend API access for an individual integration if we detect abuse, a security risk, or activity that violates these terms, even where the rest of your account remains active.

07

Fees and exchange rates

We charge a fee for processing payments, converting currencies, and certain payouts. Current fees are shown in your dashboard before you confirm a transaction and in the merchant API documentation for integrated payments. We will tell you about any change to our standard fee schedule before it takes effect for your account.

Cryptocurrency prices move continuously. The exchange rate we quote is fixed for a short window at the moment you confirm a transaction, and after that window closes a new transaction uses the current rate. We are not responsible for the difference between the rate you might have received a few minutes earlier or later and the rate that actually applied to your transaction.

08

Your responsibilities

You agree not to use 1Nodes for money laundering, financing of terrorism, fraud, or any other unlawful purpose. You agree not to attempt to circumvent our verification checks, use the Platform to move funds on behalf of a sanctioned party, or misrepresent the nature of your business.

If you integrate our merchant API, you are responsible for the correctness of the requests your systems send us and for how you present pricing and payment status to your own customers. A bug in your integration that sends an incorrect amount or address is your responsibility to fix and, where funds have already moved on a blockchain, may not be reversible.

Double check every wallet address and network you enter before confirming a transaction. Cryptocurrency transfers cannot be recalled once they are broadcast to a network.

09

Intellectual property

The 1Nodes software, our dashboard, our API, our documentation, and our brand name and logo belong to us. Using the Platform gives you permission to use them for the purpose they were built for, which is accepting and managing payments, not a license to copy, resell, or build a competing product from them.

You keep full ownership of your own brand, your content, and any application you build on top of our API. We do not claim any right to what you create using our Services, beyond what we need to operate and support the Platform for you.

10

Confidentiality

In the course of setting up or supporting your account, either of us might share information that is not public, such as technical documentation, pricing arrangements, or details about an unreleased feature. Both of us agree to keep that kind of information confidential, to use it only for the purpose it was shared for, and to limit access to people who genuinely need it, unless the law requires us to disclose it.

11

Risk disclosure

Cryptocurrency values are volatile and can rise or fall sharply in a short period. A conversion or a payout that looked favorable when you started it can look very different by the time it settles. You accept this volatility as an ordinary part of using the Platform.

Blockchain transactions are final. If you send funds to the wrong address, choose the wrong network, or lose access to a wallet you control, we generally cannot recover those funds for you. We will help where we reasonably can, but recovery is often outside our control once a transaction has confirmed on chain.

Network congestion, protocol upgrades, and outages on third party blockchains or liquidity providers can delay or, in rare cases, prevent a transaction from completing as expected. We are not responsible for the underlying performance of networks we do not operate.

12

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, 1Nodes is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform, including lost profits or lost opportunity, even if we were told such losses were possible.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the fees you paid us for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim, or to a reasonable amount stated in your account agreement, whichever your local law permits.

13

Indemnification

You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses if a third party brings a claim against us because of something you did, including a violation of these terms, misuse of the Platform through your account or your integration, or a claim that something you provided through the Platform, such as content or a trademark, infringed someone else's rights.

14

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, if we are required to by law or by a request from a regulator or law enforcement body, or if continuing to serve your account would expose us to legal or financial risk.

Where possible, we will tell you why an account has been suspended and what, if anything, you can do to resolve it. You may close your account at any time, provided there are no pending transactions or open obligations tied to it.

15

Force majeure

Neither of us is responsible for a delay or failure caused by something genuinely outside our reasonable control, such as a natural disaster, war, government action, widespread power or internet outage, or a failure of a blockchain network itself. We will each make reasonable efforts to reduce the impact and to resume normal service once the event has passed.

16

Third party services

The Platform relies on outside infrastructure we do not control, including blockchain networks, liquidity providers, and, in some cases, banking partners. We choose these partners carefully, but we cannot guarantee their availability or performance, and we are not responsible for a loss caused by their failure or downtime. Any additional terms published by one of these third parties may apply to the part of the service they support.

17

Disputes and governing law

If you have a concern about your account or a transaction, contact our support team first. Most issues can be resolved directly and faster than through a formal process.

These terms are governed by the laws stated in your account agreement, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through support will be handled under the process and venue described in that agreement.

18

General provisions

These terms, along with any policy they refer to, are the entire agreement between us about your use of the Platform, and they replace any earlier discussion or agreement on the same subject. If any single provision turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in effect.

If we do not act on a breach right away, that does not mean we give up the right to act on it later. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms to someone else without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms if we merge with, are acquired by, or sell a substantial part of our business to another company.

We may send you notices about your account through your registered email address or through your dashboard, and a notice sent that way is treated as received.

19

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services, and the regulations that apply to them, evolve. When we make a material change, we will post the new version here with an updated effective date and, where practical, notify you directly. Continuing to use 1Nodes after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
